The final for the 10/11 season took place on April 16. LIUNA, Local 183 was elegantly transformed by Grace of Precious FlowersʼNʼThings.
A scrumptious meal was presented by Cabral Catering and, once again, it was right on schedule!

We were pleased to have comedian Mike Bullard as our host for the evening. He began by introducing the judges and later he presented us with the OMNI Producers who would introduce the ten finalists.

The Judges: Nancy Costa, Michelle Madeira, Andrea Lewis, Franco LaMagna, Mike Hanson (Glass Tiger), Zack Werner (Canadian Idol)

While the votes were being counted, the audience enjoyed performances by the last year's winners Maisy Vause (Juvenile) and Veronica Domingues (Adult), Andrea Lewis (better known by Degrassi: Next Generation), Brian Melo (winner of the 5th season of Canadian Idol) finishing off with the performance of one of the evening's judges Mike Hanson (founding member of the band Glass Tiger)

The Votes were counted...

First place juvenile, Julia Debowska, received the recording of a solo CD and a $3.000 scholarship from iSTARS.

Second place juvenile, Melanie Frade, received a trip to Portugal from SATA Express.

They also received gifts from Ivo Cutlery, Lisboa à Noite Restaurant and Precious Flowers & Things.

The remaining finalists also received plaques from the contest, scrolls from the Government of Ontario and gifts from various sponsors including Ivo Cutlery, Lisboa à Noite Restaurant and Precious Flowers & Things.
